"In partnership with churches, associations, your state convention, and SEND Relief, the Serve Tour seeks to inspire you to engage in compassion ministry through participation in ministry projects in Columbia. "
You will begin the day of Serve Tour at the Spring Valley Baptist Church hub. The address is 91 Polo Road, Columbia, SC, 29223. Your project leader will give you instructions each morning of the Serve Tour.
Project details:
Hillcrest Baptist Church is hosting a Back-to-School Block Party to serve and connect with families in the Elgin, SC community. Elgin has limited opportunities for free family-friendly entertainment, and this event is designed to provide a fun, welcoming environment where families can enjoy time together and feel supported as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
The block party will feature inflatables, games, and food, creating a festive atmosphere for children and parents alike. Volunteers are needed to help with various aspects of the event, from setup and games to hospitality and distribution of supplies. This is a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate Christ’s love through joyful service and meaningful community engagement.
